Growing up near the Italian section of his boyhood home in New
Jersey Tom Tillotson developed a deep affection to the area's legendary
New York Pizza.
In the early 1980's Tom moved south to Atlanta. Although he quickly embraced the wonderful weather and southern Hospitality of the friendly people of Georgia, Tom still yearned for his beloved New York Style Pizza.
Tom searched the South for that elusive crust, exceptional cheeses and savory sauce That would combine to comprise the perfect pie. Having finally come to the conclusion that he should make his own, Tom spent the next several years swapping recipes, ideas and secrets with master Pizza chefs all over the East Coast.
